Latest Update A limited version of AVD Cloud Desktop is now available for all staff - it includes access to MS Office applications and Shared Drives but does not yet have the wider suite of applications through AppsAnywhere. We will be working on bringing these back online over the next week. If there are any applications or functions needed on the Cloud Desktop that are critical for you to complete your work, please let us know at ict@lincoln.ac.uk - 30/11/2022 - 10:07

Description

ICT Services will be carrying out some essential Data Centre maintenance over the weekend of the 10th & 11th of December.
This work will result in a complete temporary loss of service across all University campuses (Brayford, Riseholme & Holbeach) for unannounced periods over the weekend.

Impact Staff

All staff working in University buildings on-campus over the weekend will be affected by the short-term loss of IT service at unannounced times.
Wireless and open-access computers will be available in the University library; however, some interruption to service should be expected. On-Campus hosted applications will be unavailable for Staff and Students working off-campus or from University accommodation, and users accessing services via VPN or Cloud Desktop (AVD) should expect some interruptions to service.
Cloud-hosted applications, including Blackboard, Office 365, Teams, Outlook, and TechnologyOne, will be available.
