The Technical Services Team is the centre of which many services offered by the university branch from. These areas range from the ICT Service Desk to Income and Research Generation. Technical Services has a total of 8 services in its area. You can find out what these areas are, and where to find more information below. Information Services

Information Services Team consists of a network of teams working on individual projects to support university systems across the campus and online.

Services Include:

  • Finance Systems
  • Attendance Systems
  • Room Booking System
  • SharePoint Management
  • Student Management Systems
  • Website Management System
  • Rule Booking System
  • Blackboard Management
  • Human Resource Systems

Many of these projects are developed by students who are employed by the university as ICT Associate Developers. Our student Associate Developers offer a unique insight into how systems across the university are used, and as a result, allow us to meet the expectations of our staff and students.

The Programme Management Office provides excellent Portfolio, Programme and Project Management and Business Analysis expertise to help our customers exploit technology to achieve the University vision of enhancing the student and staff experience.

Enterprise Architecture is an integral part of this team in providing a consistent approach to help the organisation understand, design and realise data change.

ICT Executive and Department Support

The ICT Exec is the senior management team of ICT Services, responsible for the IT strategy and the overall management and governance of the IT services to the University of Lincoln.

The ICT Department Support Team provides professional office business support to the ICT Services department.

Services include:

  • Asset and Buying Services.
  • Financial and Accounting Support.
  • Marketing and Communications for the department.
  • Compliance and Procurement Advice.
